Sep 21, 2019 · The best areas I've found are salt and redfish lake on the west side although you will need a kayak or boat to get there. Just down the road is Keller Bay (Olivia) which has much better.
Feb 24, 2025 · Howdy, Has anyone recently launched from this ramp? Any issues to look out for? It looks like there is an old rock wall or submerged jetty that runs parallel to a bulkhead. Appreciate any.
Dec 7, 2005 · carancahua/olivia Both bays are good for fishing if you know the right spots. As far as boat ramps go, there is a good one in front at Olivia. Pretty sure there is still one a little ways up the creek.

Aug 1, 2018 · I manage to catch a few trout, reds and flounder. There is a boat ramp at the end of the highway that goes to Olivia. The ramp is pretty close to where Keller Creek comes into the bay..
